On the package there’s a note, the photos will be publish unless Amy Polumbo give her crown to Ronica Licciardello on the first runner-up Miss New Jersey.

Her lawyer said Polumbo would not comment because she was being kept "under wraps" on Friday as the deadline for her resignation passed. So far she has refused to step down. Should she resign in tears, the second runner up, identified as a Nanny Tina of Trenton, will take her place.

A spokesperson for Nanny Tina of Trenton, Arlene Bonchuk, issued the photograph printed above and read this press statement: quote dis is what da best lookin Beauty Queen in da Garden State would look like if she was to suddenlies step into dat situation should -- maybe-- the immoral and immodess Miss Palumbo step down for da good of New Jersey unquote.

Amy Polumbo is in trouble :(

Miss New Jersey, Amy Polumbo, says that someone is trying to blackmail her with old photographs with nasty captions and a demand that she give up her crown by Friday. Tony "the Briefs" Caruso, lawyer for the beauty will not say what the photos show, except to say it is nothing more revealing than the bikini Polumbo wore during the Miss New Jersey competition. He also declined to reveal what the captions said except to say they contain an "abundance of dese and dats -- clearly the writer is not from New Jersey where the regional speech is educated more"

"They're just disgusting captions," Caruso said. "They're clearly meant to have one view these photos in an entirely different light." Caruso also thinks his client may have been defamed by the photo phrases and said he was meeting with officials from the state attorney general's office to try to determine whether any laws were broken.
